Web display ads (also called banner ads) are another option for promoting your service or tour on the Ketchikan Web site.

Web display ad guidelines
- Web ads should be 160 pixels wide by 200 pixels tall.
- Web ads should be provided in .gif or .jpg format and should not exceed 15 kb.
- Ketchikan Visitors Bureau reserves the right to review and approve Web display ads prior to posting to the site as well as refuse ad placement.
- Ad placement within a page is at the sole discretion of the Ketchikan Visitors Bureau.
Pricing
All Web display ads run for 12 months (by membership year). The price for 12 months is $500. Updates to your ad during this time are available for an additional fee.
Getting started
- Design your Web ad
TIP: Keep in mind the advertisement’s size and readability on the web.
- Decide the web address (URL) you want your ad to link to.
TIP: Create a unique page on your site so you can track the number of “hits” from your ad. On request, we can provide information on the number of “click-throughs” from your ad.
- Send an e-mail to: member@visit-ketchikan.com. In that e-mail, attach your ad and provide the following information:
- Company name
- First name and last name of the company contact
- E-mail address
- Billing address, including street address, city, state, zip/post code
- Phone number
- Web address that your ad should link to (e.g., http://www.yoursite.com/page.htm), and
- Page(s) you would like it to appear on (each page placement will be a separate $500 charge)
- We will review your ad, and if everything is in order we will invoice you for the ad and place it on the page you requested.
